Unnamed son of Dennis and Martha Bradley: Black male, born 10 December 1930 in Pensacola, Florida; died one day later (11 December 1930) at 1908 N. Tarragona St., Pensacola, FL. The cause of death was listed as premature birth, and the death certificate was signed by the coroner. The child was buried in the Escambia County Poor Farm cemetery by T.M. Lloyd.
Unnamed daughter of Dennis and Martha Bradley: Black female, stillborn on 18 January 1933 in Pensacola, Florida. This child was also noted to be premature. (The birth was attended by a midwife, which was noted under the section for Cause of death – misplaced information or judgement?) This child was buried in the Escambia County Poor Farm cemetery by Morris Funeral Home.
The children’s mother, Martha E. Brown Bradley, is well-documented on Ancestry.com by descendants of her family. She was born in 1910, descended from ancestors who came to Florida from the West Indies. Previous to her 1930 marriage to Dennis Bradley she had a child named Virgie Louise by a man named Frank King. By the time she passed away in 1975, she had remarried and was named Martha Young.
Dennis Bradley is less well-documented, probably because there appear to have been at least two men by that name in Pensacola at about the same time. The last time Dennis was enumerated with Martha was the 1935 Florida census. (I have found an unsourced family tree that dates Martha’s marriage to George Young to 1938. In 1940, Virgie Louise was living in the home of her maternal aunt, Henrietta Brown Soles, along with her maternal grandmother, Christine Stephens Brown Roland.)
