Morena girl enslaved in the household of Don Pedro de Alba in Pensacola, Florida. She was born 30 September 1823, the child of the morena woman Maria Rosa, enslaved in the same household.
She was baptized on 9 November 1823 by Don Constantino Maenhaut at St. Michael’s Catholic Chuch in Pensacola, Florida. According to the baptismal record, her father was “no conocido” or unknown, but it was likely the father simply did not wish to acknowledge her. Her godparents were Enrique Garreta and Antonia Noriega.
