(1) Black male, born and died 24 March 1937. Lived 80 minutes.
(2) Black female, born and died 24 March 1937. Lived 10 hours.
Both children were born and died in Pensacola, FL at 2510 Guillemard St. Their father was Jake Bryant, born in Frisco, Monroe Co., AL. Their mother was Ethel Banks Bryant, born in Bay Minette, Baldwin Co., AL. Their cause of death was prematurity. The attending physician was Edward J. Sunday, Jr. The infants were buried by Morris Funeral Home in the Escambia County Poor Farm cemetery the day after they died.
Jake and Ethel Bryant have family trees created by relatives on Ancestry, so I will not go into their family history here. But these twins are not identified on those trees, that I can find. They were born before any of the other (at least) 11 children Jake and Ethel would have before Ethel’s death in 1956. If the 1940 census is correct, the twins would have been born shortly after Jake and Ethel were married.
