Black male, born 17 August 1939 to Hosea and Arthur Mae Johnson Andrews (both born in Alabama) in Englewood Heights, Pensacola, FL. The baby died at 9 hours old, after “bleeding from nose and mouth and umbilical cord, according to mother”; the doctor notes the infant appeared “normal in every respect.” The infant was buried in the Escambia County Poor Farm.
