Infant Girl Christian

White female, stillborn on 28 April 1922 in Pensacola, Florida. Her father was E. [probably Edward] Christian of Oregon; her mother was Edna Strother [or Trotter?] of South Dakota. The address of the family was 318 E. Intendencia Street in Pensacola. No cause of death other than “stillborn” was given. The informant on the death certificate was Edward Christian of the same address as the parents [it is likely he was the child’s father]. The infant was buried by F.R. Pou in the Escambia County Poor Farm cemetery.

These two are proving elusive, to the point that I wonder if the information on the death certificate is correct, either through carelessness in documentation or deliberate deception. The mother’s maiden name is nearly illegible, and an accurate reading of it might help.
