Black female, born and died on 27 June 1933 in Pensacola, Florida. Her place of death was 905 N. Tarragona Street in Pensacola. Her mother was Annie Bell Campbell, born in Camden (Wilcox County), Alabama. Her death certificate has no information on her father.
The infant died of “suffocation due to foot presentation and no one to deliver head.” Annie herself was the informant on the death certificate. The child was buried in the Escambia County Poor Farm cemetery by Morris Funeral Homoe on June 27, 1933.
I have not been able to positively identify Annie Bell Campbell in records for the Pensacola or Alabama area. There are a surprising number of women of color of the same name and general age, and none who match the information on the death certificate.
