White male, born around 1842 in Florida. Died on 26 May 1897 at the age of 55 in the Bohemia area of Pensacola, Florida. According to the death certificate, he worked as a laborer, had spent his entire life living in Florida, and was single at the time of his death. There is no information on his parents. The cause of death was paralysis. He was buried in the Escambia County Poor Farm cemetery.
Mr. Barron does not appear in the Pensacola City Directory that I can find, though there are only a couple of volumes available for the years near his death. An Allen W. Barron appears in the 1860 (Ucheanna, Walton County, FL), 1870 (Holmes County, FL), and 1880 (Canoe, Escambia County, AL) U.S. Censuses. It is probable that this is the same person but I do not have quite enough information to be satisfied that it is. Research continues.
